72Mieko Murai Kawasaki, 88, of Hilo, a retiree from the U.S. Social Security Administration and a Kohala Sugar Co. secretary, died at home. She was born in Hawi, Hawaii. She is survived by daughter Lori Lee Ueno, sister Yaeko Sugai and two grandchildren. Private services.
