George Kawa'a Hubbell III
GEORGE KAWA'A HUBBELL III 73, passed away December 17, 2014 in Los Angeles, CA. George was born in Honolulu, Hawai'i on November 15,1941 to George Kawa'a Hubbell Jr. and Victoria Ku'uleialoha McKee. He was raised in Honolulu and La'ie. He attended Roosevelt High School where he excelled in football and track. George moved to Burbank, California where he lived most of his adult life. George worked many years in the aircraft industry, however he was most known for his involvement with his sons in athletics and serving as a youth coach for many years. George is survived by his two sisters, Juliet Matteson of Concord, Ca. and Karen Wassman of Hilo, Hawaii, his two sons, Darren and Steven, his seven grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
