Louis "Uncle Louie" Almodova Jr., 97, of Eleele, Kauai, a McBryde Sugar Co. supervisor and an Army veteran, died in Hale Kupuna. He was born in Koloa, Kauai. He is survived by son Don; daughters Gerry Yamamoto, Sandi MacDonald and Patricia Ashley; brothers August, Benjamin and David; sisters Lydia Troche, Isabel Carvalho and Marge DuPont; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Church, Kalaheo, Kauai. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Committal services: 3 p.m. at Kauai Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire. No flowers.
