Richard Tadashi Takeuchi, 88, of Waipahu, a retired wastewater management machinery mechanic for the state Environmental Management Division and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Mildred; sons Chriss T. and Las M.; daughters Coleen S. Enomoto, Arlen H. Arakaki and April T. Shimabukuro; sisters Betty Takeuchi and Catherine Price; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation at noon Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 1 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
