73Evelyn "Ivy" Soares, 82, of Nanakuli, owner of a fencing company and an accountant, died in Honolulu. She was born in Kohala, Hawaii. She is survived by son James R.K. Miner Jr.; daughter Noel J.L. Rivera; stepson George Keoki Jr.; stepdaughters Georgette Crivello, Nani Goodman, Lily Lopes and Valerie Urso; brothers James Kimo and Archie Lalawai Sr.; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Services: 3 p.m. Saturday at New Life Church Honolulu, 1190 Nuuanu Ave.
