77John Robert "Bob" Platt, 73, of Holualoa, Hawaii, a fireman for Santa Clara County Central Fire District in California, owner of Kona Rent All and PFI Rubbish Service, a course coordinator for Kona Ironman Triathlon and a Navy veteran, died at home. He was born in Crookston, Minn. He is survived by wife Lorna, sons Erik and Ryan, sisters Jane Emrick and Barbara Willenborg, and a grandchild. Private services.
