William Pali "Pete" Peterson, 86, of Hilo, a retired accountant for the Hawaii County Department of Water Supply and an Army veteran who served in World War II and Korean War and received the Bronze Star, died in Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Brian and Brent, brother Peter, a grandchid and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 6 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo. Services: 7 p.m. Graveside committal services: 9 a.m. Saturday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Additional information for an obituary published Tuesday.
