74Haruko Komine, 93, of Hilo, a retired confectioner for the former Tanita Candy Factory, died in Long Beach, Calif. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by son Wilfred, brother Noburo Tanita, sisters Emiko Tokuuke and Tsuyuko Nishiyama, and a grandchild. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
