GEORGE MASATOSHI UYEMA Age 79, of Kaneohe, passed away on December 18, 2014. Born in Waianae, he retired from the City and County of Honolulu as Chief of the Department of Wastewater Management. He is survived by his wife, Aileen; son, Alton (Lynne) Uyema; daughters, Carleen (Todd) Yokotake and Leanne (Mark) Watanabe; eight grandchildren and brother, Aaron (Terri) Uyema. Visitation from 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2015, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; memorial service 6:00 p.m. Casual attire.
