79Shigeko M. Hiraoka, 87, of Hilo, a retired registered nurse with Hilo Medical Center and a former plantation nurse for Mauna Kea Sugar, died at home. She was born in Papaikou, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Alan and Michael, daughter Lynne Hiraoka-Pitoy and two grandchildren. Family services held.
