73Bessie Iwalani Ontai Thums, 94, of Ewa Beach, a former employee at Navy Exchange, Pearl Harbor, died in Ewa Beach. She was born in Olelomoana, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Irvan Shodahl and Ned Ontai; daughters Wilma Brubaker, Sandra Thums and Aileen Dorsey; brother Johnson Puou; sisters Elizabeth K. "Betty" Parker and Darly Cockett; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Kaimuki Christian Church, 1117 Koko Head Ave. Services: 10 a.m. Committal services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire.
