Barry Paul Solywoda, 62, of Honolulu, a harbor pilot and a Navy Reserve veteran, died in Honolulu. He was born in Red Hook, N.Y. He is survived by wife Pia; sons Louis and Thomas; daughter Mary Jean; mother Alice; brothers Phillip, Thomas and Andy; and sisters Lucille Horak, Lois McGuire and Donna Rodrigues. Services: 5 p.m. Friday at Calvary By the Sea Lutheran Church. Aloha attire. No flowers. Donations suggested to Honolulu Waldorf High School's kitchen renovation project or Angel Network Charities.
