David Kaanohi Perez Sr., 67, of Waipahu, a retired Army staff sergeant and a U.S. Postal Service retiree, died in Honolulu. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Ferila; sons David P. Perez Jr. and Andrew L., Sidney T. and Junior A. Jameson; daughters Nadine L. Perez and Leslie Ann M. Mailo; and nine grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Wednesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 10 a.m. Committal services: 1:30 p.m. at Schofield Post Cemetery, Wahiawa. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
