President of Ilocos Nortenians of America, vice president of San Nicolas Teachers Association of Hawaii, former vice president and Board Member of San Nicolas Goodwill Foundation of Hawaii. Coordinator of Philippine Celebrations Coordinating Committee of Hawaii. Served on Board of Directors at Oahu Filipino Community Counsel of Hawaii. He is survived by spouse, Concepcion Ulep Ramirez; sons, Jessie U. Ramirez, Russell U. (Marieliese) Ramirez, Michael U. (Basilica Campbell) Ramirez; brother, Segundino (Chita) Ramirez; sisters, Maxima Ramirez, Teresa Manahan; sisters-in-law, Paula Ramirez, Martina Ramirez.
