REV. DR. TAITETSU UNNO Feb 5, 1929 - Dec 13, 2014 Rev. Dr. Taitetsu Unno, of Eugene, Oregon, passed away peacefully at home with his family. Emeritus Professor of World Religions at Smith College, Visiting Professor of Religion at the University of Hawaii, Manoa (1973), and Shin Buddhist minister, he leaves a legacy of scholarship and ministry. A memorial service will be held at the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii, 1727 Pali Hwy, Honolulu, HI, at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, Jan 24. In lieu of flowers, koden may be made out to: Pacific Buddhist Academy.
