73Violet Emiko Sugita Kato, 79, of Culver City, Calif., died in Los Angeles. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by husband Dennis; daughters Iris Aiboshi and Stephanie Tademaru; brothers Raymond, Ernest, Arlen and Wallace Sugita; sister Jane Choy; and six grandchildren. Private services.
