Kyoichi Kanekuni, 91, of Kekaha, Kauai, a Kekaha Sugar Co. retiree and an Army veteran, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born in Mana, Kauai. He is survived by sons Steven Kanekuni and Jason McMurray, daughter Joyce Parubrub, brother Roku, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. Saturday at Kauai Veterans Cemetery, Hanapepe.
