81Carlos Emmanuel Andrew Ruiz Sr., 60, of Kaneohe, a retired auto repair mechanic, died in Kaneohe. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Shirley Obatay; sons Eugene "Sonny," Carlos Jr. "Chooch" and Adam Ruiz, and Dylan Santiago; daughter Jessica; father Adello; brothers Steven Ruiz and Richard Champlain; sisters Mary, Margaret and Alice J. Ruiz, Carmen Entendencia, Michelle Fong, Tracy Ruiz-Conforto and Lisa Wisham; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. Thursday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary.
