CAROL-ANN KAKO LEOLANI BORGES Carol-Ann "Kako" Leiolani Borges, age 59 of Kailua was called to God on January 12, 2015. Kako was born in Honolulu to the late Richard Boyd and Caroline Teves. A native Kailua girl, Kako attended Maunawili Elementary, Kailua Intermediate and High Schools and was a member of St. John Vianney Church. Kako was an employee of First Hawaiian Bank for 31 years and office manager for Buzz's Original Steakhouse for the past 8 years. Kako was an avid tennis player and a member of the Kailua Racquet Club. She is survived by her husband, George J. K. Borges, daughter Kaisy (Joe) Puckett, son Kully Burnet, grandchildren Kailee & Kullen Burnet, sister Gail Boyd (Paul Schuft), brothers Arthur & Robert Boyd, mother- in-law Bernadette Borges, and step-father Wallace Teves. Visitation Saturday February 7 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 148 Makawao St., Kailua, 9-10am; mass at 10:30. Casual/Aloha attire.
