Frederick "Fred" Mina, 84, of Waipahu, an Army retiree and Fort Shafter Bowling Alley employee, died in Waipahu. He was born in Puunene, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Vernon and Ricky; daughters Wendy Spencer and Marla and Crystal Mina; brother Rudy; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church, 94-1260 Lumikula St., Waipio. Mass: 11 a.m. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Flowers welcome.
