Michael "Kat" Tengan, 59, of Kaneohe, a field facility specialist and an Army veteran, died in Kaneohe. He was born in Kushikawa, Okinawa, Japan. He is survived by wife Sandra "Sandy"; son Michael J. "Mike"; daughters Tracee M., Leigh S. and Brooke C.; mother Yoshi; stepmother Fumie; brother Jon Y.; sisters Joyce Akagi, Helene Toya and Annie Salvador; and three grandchildren.
