Manuel "Macky" Pimental, 64, of Kalaheo, Kauai, an ordnance technician at Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands, Kauai Coffee field technician and an Army specialist 5 who served in the Vietnam War, died in Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital. He was born on Kauai. He is survived by wife Linda; daughters Leanne Pimental, Lissa Jones and Carleen Reeves; mother Rose; brothers Charles Jr., Clifford and Joseph; sisters Carol Pereira and Laurie Pimental; and eight grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Feb. 14 at Kauai Veterans Cemetery, Hanapepe. Services: 11:30 a.m. Celebration of life to follow at Hanapepe Neighborhood Center. Casual attire.
