Sumio Nakashima, 92, of Kailua-Kona, a real estate broker, attorney and an Army veteran who served in the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and Military Intelligence Service, died in Nakamaru Hale. He was born in Paauhau, Hawaii. He is survived by son Michael, hanai son Alvin Akina Jr. and sister Yotsue Taniguchi. Visitation: 11 a.m. Feb. 15 at Kona Imin Center, Ho-lualoa. Aloha attire. No flowers.
