Mario Zapanta Luna, 74, of Waipahu, an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Manila. He is survived by wife Lolita P.; sons Rolando, George, Rommel, Mario Jr. and John Paul; brothers Manuel, Maximo, Renato, Danilo and Leonardo Jr.; sisters Violeta Luna-Hill, Estrella Kuehnel, Corazon Smith, Carmelita Navasca, Gracita Gomez and Leonora Ventura; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3:30 p.m. Monday at Moanalua Mortuary. Eulogy: 4:30 p.m. Services: 5 p.m. Committal services: 11 a.m. Feb. 20 at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire.
