William Kua Akamu, 93, of Pearl City, a National Guard veteran, died in Pali Momi Medical Center. He was born in Honuapo, Hawaii. He is survived by daughters Lynnell Ka'opua and E. Kanani Mariano, sister Violet Makuakane, four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Tuesday at Moanalua Mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to be held in Hilo. Casual attire.
