VIOLET KIM YUK MAU PAHIA Violet Kim Yuk Mau Pahia, 85 passed away on January 29, 2015. Born on June 15, 1929 and raised in Honolulu. Resident of River-Pauahi apartments for 31 years. She was a long time member of the former Nichiren Shoshu of America, known as SGI. She retired from Pagoda in 1997. She will be remembered as a loving and generous woman. She loved her large family, and participated in the various senior citizen centers. She is survived by son Gary; daughters Patricia "Patty" Kanohokula, Laura Limo, Linda Canincia, Charlene Omura and Karen "Kina" Pahia; sister Alice Okudara; 26 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Services: Sunday, February 15, 2015, Mililani Downtown Mortuary, 5:00pm - 9:00pm. Casual attire. Donations and flowers accepted at mortuary.
