74Grace Friend, 93, of Waimea, Hawaii, a bookkeeper, died at home. She was born in Texas. She is survived by daughter Patricia F. Spangler, hanai daughter Kaulana Montgomery, four grandchildren, two hanai grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services at a later date in Waimea, San Diego, and Lopez Island, Wash.
