Santos Benjamin "Benito" Carvalho, 83, of Pahoa, Hawaii, a retired mechanic with Bob's Union Service Station, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Judith, sons Benjamin and Kurt, daughters Lisa Kealoha and Jo-Ann Carvalho, 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Service: 11 a.m. Private committal services at a later date. Casual attire. No flowers.
