74Takeo Hirakawa, 89, of Kauai, a controller for the Kauai County Department of Water and an Army corporal, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in Wailua Homesteads, Kauai. He is survived by sons Clayton and Gary, daughter Gail, brothers Yutaka and George, sister Asayo Nishihara, three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Feb. 27 at Kauai Veterans Cemetery, Hanapepe. Services: 10 a.m. Inurnment with military honors to follow. Casual attire.
