CAROLE LOUISE CARMONA 1937-2015 Carole Louise Carmona, 77, of Ewa Beach passed away on January 23, 2015 in Warrenton, VA. Carole suffered a stroke in early 2014, and succumbed to pneumonia. Carole relocated to Virginia last September to Blue Ridge Christian Home in Bealeton to facilitate her care by her oldest daughter, Laura Grace. Her husband, Lou, was in the process of moving to an assisted living facility in Virginia to be near Carole when she passed away. Carole was born in the Bronx, NY to Gaetano Thomas Pellechi and Amelia Mildred Pellechi (nee Graziani.). She attended St. Simon Stock Catholic School and Hunter College in NYC. Carole met her husband, Lou, when they were both camp counselors in Copake Falls, NY and they were married in 1956 in the Bronx, NY. Due to Lou's military service in the US Army, Carole, Lou and their four children lived all around the world before settling in Hawaii permanently in 1982. Carole was an exceptional homemaker and loving mother and her focus throughout her life was raising her four children. Carole enjoyed creating art and deeply loved her family, friends and her Catholic faith. Carole is survived by her husband, Colonel Louis Stephen Carmona (Ret.) of Ewa Beach, her sister Evelyn Baudille (Dominick) of Lakeville, PA, her children Laura Grace Carmona (Tristan) of Bealeton, VA, Elizabeth Carmona of Ewa Beach, Stephen Carmona (Laura) of Manhattan Beach, CA, and Colonel Lou Carmona (Tamyra) of Rancho Murieta, CA. She and Lou have seven grandchildren: Lena, Sarah, Hannah, Stephen, Sydney, Thomas and Ray. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas Pellechi. A funeral Mass will be held for Carole at the Blessed Sacrament Church (2124 Pauoa Rd. in Honolulu) at 11 AM on February 27, 2015 with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Afterward, Carole will be interred at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (Punchbowl) at 1 PM, with a reception immediately following at the Hale Koa hotel in Waikiki.
