78Youk Tchong "Doris" Ching, 76, of Pearl City, a self-employed seamstress, child care provider and former Diner's Drive-In cook, died in the Queen's Medical Center. She was born in Papeete, Tahiti. She is survived by husband Melvin S.K.; daughters Leila Kagawa and Leslie Ching; sisters Helene Blevins, Suzanne Chanteau, Mylene Chalons and Eliane Koan; and two grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire.
