Mary Jeannine Cochran, 77, of Paia, Maui, an attorney, a state Board of Education member, Beneficial Finance manager on Maui, Hawaii State Teachers Association employee, owner of Paia Plantation and precinct president of the Maui County DemoÂcratic Party, died. She was born in HamaÂkuaÂpoko, Maui. She is survived by husband Billy R.; son John; brothers Florencio and George Rubican; sisters Juanita Vierra, Lourdes Cordeiro, Antonia Pagay, PonciÂana Dizon, Marcia Tavai and BerÂ-nadette Adair; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
