Walter Mamoru Kaneshiro, 82, of Pearl City, a retired Dillingham Shipyard welder and a Marine Corps veteran, died. He was born in Kahuku. He is survived by wife Harriet H.; son Walter Jr.; daughters Donna Mae Tajiri and Sandra Cezar; sisters Sadako "Sarah" Miyamoto, Dora Higa and Eunice Chun; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
