81Edward Ferreira Sr., also known as "Eddie Painta" and "The Sheriff," 101, of Lihue died. He was born on Oahu. He is survived by wife Violet; sons Edward Jr. and Craig Ferreira, and Robert Sr. and Tom Gonsalves Sr.; daughters Irene Randall, Jeanette Poe, Dulinda Maria, Charlene Bukoski and Emily P. Guajardo; sisters Beatrice Elias and Bernice Pacheco; 51 grandchildren; 102 great-grandchildren; 80 great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
