LYDIA IBE SAMBRANO Age 85, of Waipahu, HI, died peacefully at home on January 17, 2015. Born in Waipahu, September 1929, alumni of St. Francis School of Nursing, Honolulu, HI. Lydia worked for the State of Hawaii Dept. of Health and retired from Waimano Training School & Hospital in 1990 after 22 years of service as a Registered Nurse Supervisor. She is survived by sons Patrick (Laurie) Watt, Kevin (Sandra) Watt, and Paul Cuneta, grandmother of Makana, Lilia, Kawika, Malia, and Leilani Watt, aunt to hanai sisters Felomina Saquilon-Bautista and Marie Tangonan-Vogan, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by siblings Pastora Sambrano-Felix, lsabello Sambrano, and Emily Sambrano- Taclan. Visitation 9:30 a.m. Thursday (Feb 26) at St. Joseph Church (94-675 Farrington Hwy., Waipahu); mass 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of choice.
