Richard Jentoku Takara, 84, of Honolulu, a retired George's Inn cook, retired Duty Free customer service representative and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Maluhia Hospital Long Term Care Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughter Charlene E. Matsuoka, sisters Nancy Takara and Helen Ajimine, and a grandchild. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
