Walter Nunokawa, 87, of Honolulu, a University of Hawaii professor, UH Board of Regents member and an Army veteran, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Lee Putnam, mother of his children Joyce, sons Jeff and Scott, daughter Jill, brother Clarence Suzuki and three grandchildren. Services: 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at Honolulu Elks Lodge. No flowers.
