Robert Arnold “Bob†Merriam, 87, of Kailua, a retired forester for the federal and state governments in Hawaii and a Navy veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in Keokuk, Iowa. He is survived by wife Rita B., sons Mark and Keith, daughter Carol, sisters Helen Stewart and Ann Wischmeier, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Sunday at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Enchanted Lake, Kailua. Services: 4 p.m. Reception to follow. Aloha attire. No flowers.
