83Shigeo Murakami, 94, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii County Department of Public Works senior building inspector, died in Yukio Okutsu Veterans Home, Hilo. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by sons Glenn and Alan, daughters Renee Murakami and Kathleen Iwamoto, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo. Services: 10 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
