Walter Ernest Nunes Jr., 77, of Kailua, a Hawaiian Electric Co. retiree and a Coast Guard veteran, died in HonoÂlulu. He was born in HonoÂlulu. He is survived by wife Kum Ok Lee; sons Eugene Peter D. and Jarrett; daughters Cynthia KuuÂlei Thomas, Laura Russell, and Sharon and Angelina Nunes; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Aloha attire.
