72Ann Aiko Gates, 89, of Kailua, a former vice president of an import and export business, died in Kailua. She was born in Hiroshima, Japan. She is survived by son Ronald E. Jr.; daughters Edith S. Eichers, Susan I. Gray-Ellis and Patricia A. Sato; sister Michiko Konishi; and nine grandchildren. Private services held. Incorrect information in an obituary published April 2.
