Henry Manuel "Hank" Peralto, 82, of Pahoa, Hawaii, a retired state Highways Division heavy-equipment operator, an Army veteran and National Guard retiree, died at home. He was born in Wainaku, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Verderine "Verda"; sons Kelvin, Garrett, Dereck and Brian; daughter Henrietta Gago; brothers Stephen and James "Jimmy" Tollefsen, and Henry "Utu" Wilkins; sister Ellen Green; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire.
