Minoru "Winchell" Shimabukuro, 95, of Hilo, a retired co-owner of the former Papaaloa Community Store and an Army veteran, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Laupahoehoe, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Mabel S., sons Wayne and Craig, brother Tokihiko, sisters Tsuneko Taira and Setsuko Shimabukuro, and a grandchild. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
