Robert Sadato "Ato" Umeda, 91, of Honolulu, owner of Ato's Coffee Shop and an Army veteran who served on the 442nd Regimental Combat Team in World War II, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Betty T., daughters JoAnn M.U. Chamberlain and Audrey K. Watson, and a grandchild. Private services.
