79Virgil Roman Shipp, 83, of Oakhurst, Calif., a heavy-equipment operator and business owner, died at home. He was born in Belgrade, Mo. He is survived by wife Marjorie "Gerry"; sons Charles, Donald and Gary; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Private services.
