Louise Abilla Melendez, 83, of Kapaa, Kauai, died at home. She was born in Makaweli, Kauai. She is survived by sons Daniel, Randy, Herman and Ricky; daughters Suzanne Duncan and Sharlene Swanson; brothers Teofilo "Phil" and Robert Tacbian; sister Helen Flores; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
