Mariano Cachola Jr., 78, of Waipahu, a retired custodian, died in Honolulu. He was born in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. He is survived by wife Catalina; daughters Ruby Ulibas, Sheila Cachola-Tinga and Maria E. Cachola-Agcaoili; brothers Romeo, Rodolfo and Josefino; sister Maryann Teano; and four grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Service: 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation: 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waipahu.
