Bernice Quintal Kanui, 80, of Waianae died in Waianae. She was born in Hanamaulu, Kauai. She is survived by sons Jeffrey, Niki Jr., John and Corine Kanui, and Mike Mole; daughters Phyllis Medina and Lola Kanui; brother Sonny Quintal; sisters Helen Hun, Violet Johnson and Lydia Yarborgh; 24 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Visitation at noon Saturday at Nanaikapono Protestant Church, 89-235 Pua Ave., Waianae. Celebration of life: 1:30 p.m. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
