Alewa Yamashiro, 89, of Honolulu, a retired postal clerk at the Honolulu Post Office and an Army veteran who served in World War II and the Korean War, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sister Lillian S. Matsuo. Private scattering of ashes at sea.
