Irving "Katsu" Hirano, 79, of Waipahu, a Marine Corps retiree, died in Waipahu. He was born in Ewa. He is survived by sons Wade K. and Roc A., daughter Teri L., brothers Masaru and Melvin T., and two grandchildren. Private services.
